How to Play

Five cards. One decision. At Betarama, Caribbean Stud strips poker down to its core. Place your Ante, get five cards face-up, and scope out the dealer's single visible card. If your hand is strong enough, Raise for double your Ante. If it is not, Fold and lose just the Ante. No draws, no exchanges, no community cards — pure hand strength against the dealer.

The dealer needs Ace-King or better to qualify. If they do not make it, your Ante pays 1:1 and the Raise pushes back to you. When the dealer qualifies and your hand wins, the Raise pays based on hand ranking — from 1:1 for a pair all the way to 100:1 for a Royal Flush. A strong hand against a non-qualifying dealer is bittersweet — you collect the Ante but miss the Raise bonus. That tension between dealer qualification and hand strength is what makes every deal interesting.

The game is fast. No multi-round betting, no waiting for community cards, no reading other players. Place the Ante, see your cards, Raise or Fold, and collect. With the 5+1 Bonus running alongside, every hand carries side bet potential that fires independently of the main result. A losing main hand can still produce a 1000:1 side bet hit.

Side Bets

The 5+1 Bonus evaluates six cards — your five plus the dealer's up-card — for the best five-card poker hand. The additional card opens up hand combinations that are impossible in a five-card evaluation, making strong hands like Straights, Flushes, and Full Houses more reachable. The side bet resolves before the Raise or Fold decision and pays regardless of the main game outcome.

5+1 Bonus

Your 5 cards plus the dealer's up-card — 6 cards evaluated for the best poker hand. Three of a Kind or better pays, and Royal Flush delivers 1000:1.

Three of a Kind7:1

The paytable rewards every strong hand from Three of a Kind at 7:1 through to Royal Flush at 1000:1. Even when the main hand loses, the 5+1 Bonus can deliver significant payouts from the same cards. The combination of Ante/Raise payouts, 5+1 Bonus, and Millionaire Mode means Caribbean Stud hands can pay from three separate sources simultaneously.

Millionaire Mode

Add a $1 side bet for a shot at $1,000,000. Seven cards are evaluated for the spade straight flush: 8♠ 9♠ 10♠ J♠ Q♠ K♠ A♠. Your 5 cards plus the dealer's up-card plus 1 bonus card drawn from the deck = 7 cards evaluated.

Provably Fair

SHA-256 cryptographic commitment locks every card before your bet. The server seed is hashed and visible pre-deal. After the hand, the raw seed is revealed for independent verification. Your client seed adds your own entropy, and a per-round nonce ensures every hand uses a unique derivation. No outcome is changeable after the wager is placed — verify any hand from the game history panel.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Caribbean Stud work at Betarama?

Five-card poker against the dealer. Place an Ante, get 5 cards, see one of the dealer's cards. Raise for double the Ante or Fold. The dealer must qualify with Ace-King or better. If they don't qualify, Ante pays 1:1 and Raise pushes.

What is the 5+1 Bonus side bet?

Combines your 5 cards with the dealer's up-card for a 6-card poker evaluation. Pays from 7:1 for Three of a Kind up to 1000:1 for Royal Flush. Resolves independently of the main hand.

What is the top payout?

The 5+1 Bonus pays 1000:1 on Royal Flush. Millionaire Mode adds a $1 side bet for a shot at $1,000,000. The main game Raise pays up to 100:1 on a Royal Flush.

How does Millionaire Mode evaluate cards?

Seven cards are checked: your 5 cards, the dealer's up-card, and 1 bonus card from the deck. The target is the spade straight flush from 8 through Ace. All 7 matching = $1,000,000.

Is there a card exchange option?

No. Caribbean Stud is Raise or Fold only. For card exchange, play Oasis Poker, which uses the same base game but lets you swap cards for a fee.

Is every hand verifiable?

Yes. SHA-256 provably fair system. Server seed committed before the deal, revealed after. Hash it yourself to confirm the deck was locked before your bet.
